OK I am cutting it close, but I couldn't sleep so I made one last canvas. Since I liked and (so did my friends) the past canvas' I went ahead and made this one too. The back story - a few months ago I agreed on FB to make a home made project for someone if they would make it for me - and pass it on. I had limited to 5 total. SO I figured I would make 1 canvas but then I became addicted to these as it was fun and really love the way they turned out.
I made this one for my mom.. SHHHH don't tell her until I give it to her in a few weeks.
My mom likes RED I don't have any red glimmer mist so PINK will have to do. I bet Karaboo (my friends daughter) is glad I didn't make this one for her. She doesn't like PINK at all.
I made a small mistake - so I'll share the tip w/ you - don't touch the canvas until it's dry.
Letter Envy - Name 4" Wow didn't know the R would be so large...
Arts Philosophy - Flowers 2.5"
Arts Philosophy - Butterfly - 1.5"
I think this will be the final one I make tonight. I may just make the other person 1 too. HMMM how fun would that be.
I know they are all looking the same but trust me they are all different. I had allot of fun making these and if you get a chance I'd recommend buying a 3 pack of canvas and playing around with it.

One final Canvas
OK since my friends liked the other canvas I made. I figured I'd made another one.
This one is for a friend of mines daugther. She loves Blue.
Letter Envy - Name - 4" - w/ layered function on Font button
Arts Philosophy - Flowers - 2"
Arts Philosophy - Butterfly - 2"
I glimmer misted this w/ Jazz Blue and also Dragon Fly - mixed the colors. It really shimmers and shines in person. I added a few stiching. Since I made the other one for her MOM I went ahead and made this for her.
I think she will like it.
The canvas is 8.5 x 11 and has a small hardware mount on the back.

Did you know... Shrinky dink style.
Did you know that if you buy the shrinky dink that is plain (not made for ink jet printers) can be Glimmer misted? Well I didn't know that until I tried.
I made this little charm pin for the fun of it.
Letter Envy - Font "T" cut at 3"
Arts Philosophy - Heart and Star at 3"
I then used the Bubble Gum Pink and Blue Jazz Glimmer mist once they were cut out. I then used SEI dye in purple. I did not let them dry I just used my heat tool and watched them shrink away. They turned out pretty cute. The purple is really dark and the heart/start are really fun and shimmery.
Well just a quick little project.

Sale Sign
One thing I love about the Cricut is making signs for yard sales. This was no different. I normally do a Mom to Mom sale every year and this is no different. I'll be selling a ton of my daugther's old clothes. Since the sale is all day long and about 300 people come through I get a little hoarse so I made a sign. I try to sell my clothes CHEAP -- because I don't want to carry them home with me. I made a quick and simple little sign.
Letter Envy - cut at 3"
Kates ABC - cut at 3"

Teacher cards
I made these little Thank you cards for my daugthers preschool teachers. When I looked at the crest on Letter Envy - w/ the layers It looked like a little chalk board.
Letter Envy - Crest cut at 3" w/ layers
Create A Critter - Apples 3" w/ layers
Kates ABC -Thank you 1".
I will be making something else for the teachers I'm sure but here's just a quick little card.
G door sign
What a quick and cute little way to make a sign for a room. My daughter(thanks allot to her preschool teachers) loves to point out letters. My daughter for most that know me goes by a nick name of G. So I thought since she loves to find "G"s I'd make this little sign for her.
I used Letter Envy - Crest layered it on Kraft card stock and cut it again out of the Brown paper from Echo Park. This is cut at fit to page which came out to be 10 1/2".
Kate's ABC - "G" w/ shadow function at 6"
The green paper is from SEI but the diamond is from Echo Park
Create a Critter - Lady but cut at 2 1/2".
I used my gel pen to stitch around the edge and added some little stickles.
Cropadile to make holes in the sign for the cute little flower eyelets
The colors match her room perfectly and so does the lady bug.
I will be attaching w/ a 3M removable wall hanger to her bedroom door. I was going to use vinyl but thought hubby might have not enjoy that.
Have a great day -

Three...
Where did the time go?? Really my little girl is now Three. These photos were taken by a friend who does professional photography for a living. She seems to always capture the BEST of any child - this day was no different. She got this great photo of my daugthers beautiful smile. She just shines.
I created this layout based on the sketch from http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/2012/03/march-30-get-to-know-me-blog-hop.html. I thought it was pretty cool but I changed it up a little. I didn't like the accent stripe at the top so I moved it to the bottom.
You will be surprized those that follow me.... THERE IS NO SEI on this page. It's all Echo Park. Oh my goodness this paper is adorable. I bought this paper soley for this layout. It really is very girly. I loved the diamond paper. Just so fun and pretty for a little 3 year old girls layout.
I used the dies from Emma at www.http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ kit called Build a Banner. I think these are adorable and worked perfectly for this.
Letter Envy - 2011 - cut at 1"
Kate's ABC - Three - cut at 1"
Kate's ABC - Butterflies cut at 3" and 2"
I added some pretty ribbon, a few rhinestones and some stickles.
Hope you enjoy and

MOM Album
So I admit I'm addicted to making these mini albums. I want to make one for everyone in my family. I think they are so special and would make a perfect gift.
I recently made one for my Dad and thought that I better make one for my mom too. So I designed this album with my Gypsy.
The over height of the album is 4"
Letter envy - MOM welded the words to a basic rectangle.
Arts Philosophy - photo corners at 3/4"
Stand and Salute - envelope sized at 3"
Forever Young - 1" flowers
I haven't yet determined what photo I want and need to find some MOM sayings to put on like I did w/ my dad's album.
Hope you enjoy and

Honey Bee.
A few weeks ago there was a post on the Cricut MB asking for people to make a cards for the Arkansas Children's hospital. I agreed that this would be a fun cause and agreed to make a few cards. I will say that the Cricut MB is full of fun and very giving people.
I made these cute little Honey Bee cards. I made the cards as A2 size - 4.25 x 5.5" - I used my gypsy and customized my cards. I used Letter Envy for the "Honey comb". and customized the size.
I hid a few of the small honey combs at the bottom.
I also cut the card from Letter Envy.
Create a Critter - bee cut at 3.5" -using the shadow, and the layered function.
Create a Critter - flowers cut at 1.5" (the flower on the zebra button).
I inked the edges and added some ribbon around the bottom.
The sweet faces are from PKS - using the Cute and Cuddly stamps. Since these are made for children - I thought it would be fun to add them to an Action Wobble. (LOVE those).
Hope you enjoy these and
Happy Scrappin'
Canvas
When I made the other canvas I had no idea that my friends would love these. I was asked to make another one for another friend. I used Letter Envy for the font cut at 4.5" and used the layer functions on the font.
I also used Arts Philosophy for the flowers cut at 2" and the butterfly is cut at 2.5" w/ the layers also from Arts Philosophy.
I used Bubblegum mist.
The canvas measures 8.5 x 11" and I bought a small hook for it to be hung on the wall.
Hope you enjoy and

Me....
OK in the 15 years I've been scrapbooking I have never scrapbooked a page of just me. Not sure why but I seem to scrapbook family, events but never just me.
So I broke out Letter Envy - love that font - love the script - can I just say I love that cartridge. I liked the brackets on this and the title "ME". I did the layers for the brackets. They are so fun.
I added a few little pennants under each photo and simply put the month/year photo taken.
The paper is from Imaginisce and the pennants are from DCWV. This paper matches perfectly. I love stripes on the paper and the cute polka dot. These are a little more muted tones, but I think it worked for the photos I chose as the first 3 photos are older and they are more muted colors.
The 1st photo was me in Sept 75 - I was about 3 months old
The 2nd photo was me in June 77 - I was 2 years old
The 3rd photo was me in June 88 - I just turned 13 and went to Chi Chi's for dinner and they put a big sombrero for your birthday and take a photo. I just loved this photo.
The 4th photo was me in September 04 - my wedding day.
The final photo was me in October 08 - when my daughter was born. This photo was taken of me while she was still in the NICU - I remember getting to actually hold her w/o the wires and I was tickled pink.
I used Letter Envy cut at 2 1/2" for the "ME" and the brackets at 3 1/2"
The base was cut from Arts Philosophy at fit to page to make the top note
The pennants cut from Party Picks and pennants at 3" long and 1/2" wide and at 3 1/2" and 1/2" wide - I turned off the link in the gypsy to make my own customized size.
I hope you enjoy and

Holland MI - Spring 2009
I have had a lot of time to play since my daughter is out of school for spring break. I'll sneak into my room and she'll come in about 10 minutes later wanting to make a project. Today was no different. I love that she wants to be crafty too.. She loves to glue, cut, and watch Cricut work.
Our local scrapbook store is hosting another Monthly challenge and the theme is Spring. I also wanted to make another project for the Cricut Circle Magazine challenge - we are able to enter as many times as we want for this contest this go round.
I am finally getting some OLDER photos scrapbooked. I did this cute little layout from our trip to Holland Michigan. This was back from 2009. My hubby told me when we moved to MI that we would go to see the tulips in Holland MI. I will say this is one beautiful place to go. I loved looking at all the different tulips and the different sites to go in Holland. IT truly is a place to see.
I used SEI paper and some DCWV paper mats.
Letter Envy for the words Holland MI - cut at 2 1/2" - I love the mismatched font for some projects - but I wanted to keep most of the font the same. I wanted Holland to be all one and MI another. I love the "I" looks 3d.
Kate's ABC - cut Spring at 3/4", 2009 at 1", the watering can cut at 3" however I changed the flowers to all tulips.
The flowers on the edge are from the eyelet outlet - and are "quicklets" - they don't require a hammer/punch. They set really easy -w/ a pen and twirling it around.
Hope you enjoy and

Enjoy the Moment...
OK I will admit this layout kicked my bumm.. Yes it really did. I normally have a vision and can translate it but this time was really hard. At first I didn't like the colors I laid out, then I didn't like the layout shape, and then I didn't have a journal box. Thankful I didn't glue it down because I kept changing it. After 3 weeks of looking at this layout I finally made it work.
I started with cutting a basic circle on my circut at 9". I then took my flower punch from EK success and punched out several strips. I then glued them to the back of the circle - to form a "petal" affect.
I cut the title from Letter Envy - at 1.5"
I cut a basic square for the mats and journal box
I added a cut little flower from Forever young to accent the journal box.
The paper is SEI
I added a few little pieces of ribbon and a couple of buttons.
This is one of my FAVORITE photos of my daughter. A friend of ours who is a professional photographer took these photos. I try to have professional photos taken for her birthday.
Like my journalling suggest - it really has made me stop and enjoy the moments. She is growing way toooo fast and I really love this sweet little photo. It simple speaks child.
Hope you enjoy and

Bucket List...
OK so I've said it already once, but I'm loving this new Cricut Circle cartridge Letter Envy. I've made a few different projects and I really do love this font. I love the base font but really I'm loving the font w/ the Shadow, and the little font layer w/ little cuts in it. It cuts great for smaller areas like 1". The other font cuts better at larger sizes.
I made this page for a couple of reasons. I seem to always scrapbook about my daughter but really nothing of me.
The Cricut Magazine challenge was to use Letter Envy and 2 other cuts so when I saw the local scrapbook show also having a challenge. I knew this would be perfect.
The Great Lakes Mega Meet will be coming to town in a month (YES!) and they have challenges to "get our creative juices flowing". This challenge was to make a bucket list of 5 things.
I will say that I am so blessed with all that I have. I know some people make a bucket list for things they want to do or for stuff they've done also. I really have wanted to make a page like this so it's perfect.
My bucket list was from several years ago - I really never shared it, but my bucket list included: being a wife, mom, graduate from college, own my own home and see a few of sites. I have several other things on my bucket list - one is to see the Macy's thanksgiving parade, and the tournament of Roses parade too.
I really wanted to see The Mighty MAC (aka the Mackinaw Bridge). Which those close to me know I have a large fear of bridges this high. I guess my fear of bridges steamed when I almost was struck by a semi going out of control on a very large bridge. What about when I had to work disaster claims in New Orleans after the hurricane's and had to travel over some very large bridges that went straight up. I told my hubby in order for me to go Mackinaw I had to conquer my fears of the bridge 1st. I was so proud of myself I went over it w/o having a huge panic attack.
OK so enough about the bridges - here's the details on the page:
Letter Envy - letters cut at 1" on font, font layer and shadow
Arts Philosophy - photo corners 1"
Arts Philosophy - tab cut at 1.5"
Party Picks and Pennants digital - 1.5"
Basic shapes - mats cut at varying sizes - 2x3, 3x4, 4x7
Paper is from SEI Poppy line
Oh, and Yes I did journal too -- see it??
Hope you enjoy and
Happy scrappin'

Magazine Challenge Letter Envy
OK I must admit - I've been playing with Letter Envy A LOT!!! I love the font.
I figured that I would go ahead and get a jump start on Father's day so I made this cute little "DAD" mini album. I love using my Gypsy and when she was gone to the Dr. I just missed her. I did really :)
I used Letter Envy - for the DAD w/ the font and Shadow. These letters are cut at 4.04" for the D's and 3.45" for the A. I turned off the link so I could make them fit my album better.
The base is a rectangle from Cricut Font and Basic Shapes They are sized to overlap slightly for the previous letter.
They are all 4" high.
I welded the letters to the rectangle and using the page function on the gypsy added another layer so I could see where the previous one lined up.
I cut all the letters/rectangles (welded) 2 times out of thick craft card stock. I then glued together to make it sturdy.
I then did the font function - and cut the letters in the pretty green/gold paper - from SEI Kris Kringle line.
The mats are all cut 1/2" smaller than the initial size from the Cricut Font and basic.
The envelope is cut from Stand and Salute at 5" so when folded it would fit onto the back of the mat. I'll tuck a little note inside and/or a GC for him for Father's Day.
I wanted to keep this simple - after all it's for my Daddy. I had some "Dad stickers from Bo- Bunny" and I added them I thought they were perfect.
The little saying on the "A" page is 100% true. My daddy will always have a special place in my heart. He was the first guy I loved!!!
I added a photo of my daddy holding me a long time ago - this happens to be one of my favorite photos of my daddy.
Hope you enjoy and

Preschool...
This layout is of my daughter for her Pre-School photo. I love looking at different sketches and seeing how I can make it mine. I found this great sketch from: http://www.sketchsavvy.blogspot.com/2011/03/januaryfebruary-sketch-for-memorable.html. and thought it was perfect. I wanted to keep this layout pretty simple. I wanted her to be the focus not all the "extras".
I used Letter Envy Cricut cartridge at 1" - for Preschool.
The ABC - 123 were all cut from Birthday Bash at 1"
I also used the cricut basic and cut the mat.
The paper is SEI Happy Days line -
A few little cuts - and some ric rac and it was done.
I did journal on the page but after I took the photo as it has allot of personal information on it. I journaled around the long edge on the right side .
I hope you enjoy and

Magazine Challenge
For this months Magazine Challenge on the Cricut Circle Blog was to make a project using the circle exclusive cartridge Letter Envy.
Can I just say that is one of my favorite font cartridges. I love the miss match letters and everything. I really love letters that have shadows, and fun layers.
A few months ago I a few of my friends on FB agreed to do a "pass it forward" crafting project. The rules were simple you agreed to make something crafty for someone if they passed it forward and made something for you.
So this was the project I made for my friend Anjie.
I used an 8x10 canvas - bought in a 3 pack from Joann's.
I sprayed it with Tattered Angels glimmer mist Dragonfly, and Jazz Blue
I used Letter Envy to cut the Letters using the function keys: Font Shadow, Font Layer, and Font.
I cut the letters at 4"
The paper is from SEI Corine paper line
The roses were cut from Arts Philosophy at 2 1/2", 3" -
The butterfly also cut from Arts Philosophy at 2".
I doodled a little with a black gel roll pen to make the butterfly look like it was flying.
I bought a few little hangers from the local home store to mount into the back.
Hope you enjoy and
Happy Scrappin'
