More SEI monster fun.

OK, I am officially addicted this these little monster iron ons. I love them. I just can't wait for my Target to get some.

I played around and made a simple layout.

My daughter would always run around the house pretending like she was a monster. I remember this day - and she was just a sweet little monster. It was so cute. She even will tell you she's a monster.

She earned the monster nickname when she was just a few weeks old. She would put her arms up and make a little noise. It was so sweet.

I used SEI papers, the iron on and the monster sentiments.

I had only a few of the monster pieces left so I used them here.

I hope you enjoy

Monster Bag

Ok so a little secret. My hubby actually made this bag - he wanted to play since he saw the cutie I made. He positioned the pieces and I ironed them on.

I had to laugh where he put the band- aid. It was so cute. I love this. I found it neat to add the additional teeth and just made this little monster so cute.

I had a canvas bag that has something on the front of it. So I allowed him to create this on the back. The bag is something alot of other ladies take to crops so I will always know which bag is mine.

I love these little monsters and these little iron ons. I went to my local Target today and they didn't have them yet. I so need to get a few more. I can think of a few other things I want to get.

Well I hope you enjoy.

Happy Craftin'

SEI my own monster towel

Ok so we all know how much I LOVE SEI - I mean I love SEI.

I bought these cute little monster iron sheets at the local convention recently - and just adore these. I bought them for the sole purpose and that was to make something for my daughter. When she was really small she would put her arms up and "grumble" like a monster. She earned the nickname "Monster". I know, I know that isn't very nice. Well she was a cute little monster and so when I found these I needed to make something for her.

So off to a local store today in search for something cheap to buy that I could turn into something adorable.
I found this beach towel - which is perfect size for a toddler. Mind you I paid $1.50 for the towel. So I think this project not only is ADORABLE but was very cheap. I spent less than $7.00 for this project.

Go and check out the other SEI My own Monster projects. Have fun.

SEI Challenge with Abby #3 Pink and Tacky Tuesday Challenge

I just love love love the SEI challenges that Abby from http://www.scrapbookaholicbyabby.com/. This challenge is super easy it was to use the color Pink. I think this little Chickadee turned out so cute.
The egg opens up to reveal the cutest little Chickee. She's just hatched.

I used:
Kraft Card stock for the base
SEI pink paper for the background
SEI buttons (I got in on of the page kits)
Bazzill Pomegranate Metallic for the (hot pink) this paper is so pretty.
Yellow Bazzill
Black card stock
The twine was the sample pack I bought from Pink by Design

The Card is cut at 5x5
The little Chickie is cut at 3.5" from the Simply Charmed Cartridge
The sentiment banner is cut at 2.5" wide from Tags, Bags, Boxes and more.
The sentiment is from the stamp set "Jump& Jive" by Pink by Design. Doesn't it just make this card?
I love the little sentiment.

I am also entering this in Tacky Tuesday's Challenge on Face book.

I just love this little Gal. Hope you enjoy.

SEI Challenges with Abby #2

Well I did it again, seems like lately I have been waiting until the very very last minute to enter some challenges. This time was no different. I finally was able to get into my craft room to play. I have purchased a few new things and wanted to really start playing with them. Nothing major, a few new cartridges, twine, and some really pretty paper.

I made a super simple but very pretty card.

I used:
Bazzil Kraft, White metallic, Raspberry metallic, and Pink metallic paper. I know GASP.. NO SEI.
The cartridges used were:
Cake Basics
George and basic shapes
Sweethearts (my new toy and probably going to be a favorite).

The card it self is 4.35 x 4.25 (I know its strange but I find that if you add .10 additional to the shape it allows you to have a perfect card). This gives you a little extra so if you want to stitch it is a perfect fit. The fold compensates for a little and instead of only having a very small area to stitch/mat you have the correct size.

The White mat was cut at 4.00 x 4.00
The hearts were all cut from Sweethearts cartridge, at 1.64. I love how the hearts have several that you could layer or leave by themselves.

The sentiment is from Emma's at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ 1st released stamp set, "You Had Me At Chocolate".

I added some bling by using Rhinestones in pink.

Hope you enjoy and Happy Scrappin'

SEI Challenges with Abby

She's BACK... Yes Abby from http://www.scrapbookaholicbyabby.com/. is back hosting another wonder SEI challenge. Let me just tell you I have my favorite papers yes, but this new SEI line will soon be among my newest favorite I am sure. The new paper line she is given away to the winner is "With All My Heart".
This weeks theme was "Smile or Laughter". My daughter always makes my husband and I smile. She is sweet, silly, and all girl. So I made a cute little layout for photos of my daughter. I haven't figured out which ones I want to put in yet.
I used:
SEI papers Brown is a basic SEI paper
The Pink Scallop was cut at 11.5 on my Expression using the Sugar and Spice Cartridge. I used Christmas Mint (cinnamint) paper.
The Pink/ and pretty heart/bird paper was from Songbird
The letters were all from Rock Princess. That has to be one of my favorite cartridges just for the font alone. I love the cute little hearts on each of the letters.
The twine bows are from Pink Cricut ( I used the cotton candy twine). I think I just found a new accessory I just love.
I hope you enjoy and happy Scrappin'

Oh no... It's the last one of the year.

It is with Deepest sadness that I must post the Gaby/Abby Challenges are coming to an end this week for the remainder of the year. They are not going to be hosting any more SEI challenges this year. :( I am very sad; however, on the flip side. It brings me much happiness that NEXT year they will be back with the challenges (AT least for a few). Thank you SEI for allowing additional challenges and for being a great sponsor. The prize packs have been great. I can't wait for the new paper lines and can't wait to see them in person.

As most of you know I dearly love my SEI.
This weeks challenge was to create a Santa or Snowman project. Well I wanted to say a big thank you to Emma from http://www.creativetimeforme.com/. I received a cute little snowman stamp from PKS. It was such a great surprise to "win" something.

This card I made a cute little "tag" card. Yes the tag is easily removed and will allow for a great gift tag.

I used the paper line Kris Kringle:
The Green is Elf
The Red Polka dots is Twinkle lights
The stripe is Gift box
and the pretty Blue snow flakes is Snow angels
The white is SEI Coconut Velvet. (Let me tell you the paper cuts like butter on the cricut). I used it on another card. It is beautiful.
The ribbon is also from SEI.

**** This line is super cute - it is a little more whimsical but very pretty never the less.

The stamp is from PKS (what a cutie). I stamped it with SEI chrome ink but was a really light coloring so I used a black marker to outline it.
I used my Copics (I only have 2 a Pink and Red) ** just be careful on the copics and the velvet paper it "runs/bleeds".
The extra sparkle is from the star dust stickles.

Isn't this just a cute little card.

I hope you enjoy it and as always Happy Scrappin'

Thank You Card

Well its that time again for the wondeful SEI challenges with Gaby and her BFF Abby.
You can enter the challenge by going to her blog which is www.gabycreates.com . Once again she is doing an SEI sponsored blog post. I sure hope at some point I can win. I am so jealous.. I just love love love SEI my favorite and of course the project this week was so much fun. This week was all about the Glitz and glamor: The theme was Glitter. Who doesn't love Glitter?

I do I do..

I made this really cute card for a friend of mine. She hosted a play date the other day and her darling little 4 year old made my daughter a sweet friendship bracelet with her name on it. It is so cute.

So I am sending her a card to Thank her. Besides what 4 year old wouldn't love to get mail?

I used:
SEI Christmas Mint paper line (of course, right?).
I used Cinnamint (the pink inside), the body of the cutest owl, and the "Thank You".
The front of the card is Ribbon Candy (which is the red). Isn't it just pretty? I love it.
The green is Christmas Mint. Mmmm reminds me of a certain chocolate company's Mint Melt A Ways..
The bow is from the Glitmaz collection (yes SEI's ribbon)
Ok now on for the Glitter - the cute little owl's tummy is glittered with Diamond Dust Stickles and I also added stickles all over the front of the card just small little dots on the red paper.
The eyes are SEI google eyes.
The Owl is cut from Hoot 'n Holler, and the "Thank You" was cut from Sugar 'N Spice cricut lites.

Isn't this owl just as cute as can be? I love her.

The card is actually a "pop up" style on the inside. The word "thank" when unfolded pops up. I couldn't get it to actually photo well (thanks to my broken camera -- thank goodness my new one just came in).

Christmas Card/tag with matching envelope

Yes its that time of week. Another wonderful SEI challenge with Gaby. I just love her SEI challenges. They are so cool. Gaby and Abby's projects are just as cute as can be. Don't believe me? Go see for yourself. Gaby's blog is http://www.gabycreates.com/ and Abby's blog is http://www.scrapbookaholicbyabby.com/. The treat/bag box is just as cute as can be. She used the SEI Paper line Kris Kringle. Isn't that paper just as cute as can be? I love love all SEI paper, but I must say my favorite Christmas SEI paper has to be Christmas Mint (shhhh don't tell anyone but its also on Sale at Shopsei.com). I think it's time to stock up.

So for this weeks challenge she asked to make something Christmas. I love to make Christmas cards and and gift tags for the presents. I thought this would be GREAT. I made this cute little Santa tag and made a pocket card to put him in. I also just stamped on the back of him To:/From: using my stamps from Pink by Design Christmas Stamps. I was "testing" out my stamp so I also made a cute little plain envelope.

Isn't he just as cute as can be?

I used:
SEI Christmas Mint line: The red back ground is Cinnamint (It's textured and two tone).
SEI Christmas Mint line: Raspberry Truffle (mmm so yummy).
SEI Christmas Mint Green Ribbon
For "Santa" it is made by "Another Stamp Company"

He is all glittered out with Xmas Red, Cotton Candy, and Star Dust Stickles
I had some "Fun Fluff" so his beard and trim is fluffy.
The border punch is from Martha Stewart Cafts - Poinsettia (got at Michael's for 12.99).
Well Happy Scrappin'

Another Week another Challenge

Another week has come and gone and that means another challenge is up at http://www.gabycreates.com/. She is featuring SEI challenges and most know this is my FAVORITE paper line. I will normally use SEI some where in a card, or layout. I just love the colors.

This week's theme is Thanksgiving. Well its only a few days away from Thanksgiving so this challenge is perfect.

I made a cute little card. "Gobble 'til you wobble" The sentiment is from Pink by Design stamps.

I try to use SEI as much as possible, but this time I used a few other small areas of paper.

I used SEI moon rise for the orange, some SEI brown and red card stock. The green background is from Achievers.
The orange buttons are from the SEI page kits.
The turkey faces are "Create a Critter" stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps. (So cute).

The card is cut using "Christmas Cards" (I just love the scalloped edge) size 5 x5.
The cute little Turkey's are 1.5" using Create a Critter and all the layers (I hide the face on my Gypsy).

The red feathers and 2 top hats have some red stickles on them (Gotta Bling them out, right?) .
And Rhinestones on the top hat (in the middle).

Hope you Enjoy and Happy Scrappin' (and Thanksgiving)!!!

SEI Challenge 6

This weeks SEI challenge with http://www.gabycreates.com/. is hosting SEI Week 6 Challenge. This week is Fall Harvest. Well nothing says Fall Harvest like raking up some leaves. When I think of Fall Harvest a lot of things can be classified. The leaves, the apple orchards, the pumpkins. My favorite time of the year is Fall. I love the vibrant and rich colors, the jumping/ playing in leaves, apples, pies that fall brings.

I created a pretty layout of my daughter playing, racking, and jumping in the leaves. She had a blast. She loved every minute of it. I know I know - Child labor laws.. She was having fun raking those leaves.

I used SEI Moonrise for the Orange, Gold, and Green.

SEI chalk ink (chestnut brown).
Shhhh don't tell but I didn't use ALL SEI papers- I used K I Memories for the "tree" paper
And these really pretty "acrylic" leaves are from Heidi Grace (they are called Autumn Leaves Glass Affects). I just thought they were perfect.

Guess what? I didn't use any thing from my Gypsy or Circut.

I haven't determined a title yet, or if I will title it or just leave it as a journal box.

I hope you really enjoy this Fall layout. I just love it.

Thanks for stoppin and Happy Scrappin'

Moonrise Collection

Well Gaby at http://www.gabycreates.com/. is hosting another SEI challenge. This time it was to your the photo to inspire your project. When I saw this photo:

I thought instantly of the SEI moonrise collection of paper. paper. This paper is so pretty. I love it. It is perfect for fall, or "formal" photos. The colors are Orange, Brown, Green, Gold, and cream. SEI had allot of really pretty paper that is "Bright and Cheery", but this paper is a little more muted.
A few weeks ago, a great friend of mine took photos of my daughter, Genevieve. I thought that a "color" photo would be too much so I printed it off in Black and White. I think it is perfect. This photo is one of my absolute favorites. It sums up what a 2 year old wants to do.

I also entered this in Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge. For Peachy Keen Stamps it was a "sketch" layout.
I hope you enjoy it, as I had allot of fun making it.
I tried a few new things - Stitching on Ribbon and also Stitching on the page.

I used:
SEI Moon Rise collection
Green Ribbon
My Gypsy (to cut only the scallops at the top)

Hope you enjoy and Happy Scrappin'

Little Monster

Ok Gaby is at it again with her SEI challenge.
You should check blog out - at http://www.gabycreates.com/. It is a great challenge. Why? Because it is using SEI paper which is my favorite paper line. Seriously - I have all the papers organized into separate folders. Yes all alphabetized, and in order by the SEI number. I know I know I'm Crazy.. I just love my SEI

I had a favorite SEI paper pack until recently, until I received some MONSTERVILLE paper. Now this has to be the most absolute adorable paper. I love the cute faces of the monsters. They are cute not scary. The Monsterville Flying Circus paper is so adorable, but, I didn't want to use the whole page so I just cut out a cute little gal and attached to my lay out.

I also love SEI paper because so many of the papers coordinate cross lines.

When I saw this challenge I knew I wanted to do my photos of my daughter running around. The shadow makes her look like a monster, it was the best.

I used:
SEI Monsterville Sassy Susie
SEI Monsterville Posie Way
SEI Monsterville Flyin Circus
SEI Kitty's place kitty whiskers (for the plan pink)
SEI Beatnik Brown for the base.
I used the Monsterville eyes and the blurb.

The title Little Monster was done with my gypsy, using Happy Hautings.

Don't forget today is also Hello Thursday - go check out the great projects at
www.obsessedwithscrapbooking.com/ She has a ton of wonderful project ideas. You will love the pointsetta card - it is just beautiful. Truely some awesome releases this month.
Well hope you enjoy and happy scrappin'

SEI Challenge

OK so I love love love my SEI paper. I have used SEI since I started scrap booking several years ago. SEI happens to be my favorite so Gabby at http://www.gabycreates.com/ is hosting a SEI Challenge. She did her layout by hand w/o the use of the Cricut, well myself, I didn't. I used my expression and Gypsy.

My daughter will be 2 in a few days and I just loved this photo a dear friend of mine took for her 2 year old photos.

Well hope you join Gaby with her great SEI challenge.

This challenge was a "sketch" layout or card. I made a layout. I took several photos of it, but couldn't get it just right, so I scanned part of it.

Cartridges used:
A child's year
Create a Critter
George and Basic Shapes

Papers used:
SEI Jocelyn Paper - Pink Riot
SEI Jocelyn Paper - Chocolate Fix
SEI On the Coast - Barnacle
I used some ribbon I had on hand
Buttons on hand
and of course Rhinestones

Hope you enjoy and Happy Scrappin'
