Tic Tac Toe Challenge - Cricut style.

Well, since I am now a full time stay at home mommy - I get to play a little more with my daughter and oh my cricut. Oh how I love my Expression and my gypsy and I have missed playing with them both.

So I thought I would enter the Monthly challenge for the Cricut Circle members.

This challenge was to us this tic tac toe board.

I used the Flower, Ruffle, and Buttons for my tic tac toe.

Here is what I made.

The card is an A2 size.

I used the Nifty Fifties cartridge cut 3 - dress forms at 3 1/2"

The paper is SEI - Juliette collection

The ruffle is also SEI ribbon - did a simple stich on my sewing machine to make the cute little ruffle.

The flowers are cut at 1/2", to 3/4" -

The buttons are from my stash.

Hope you enjoy it, thanks for stopping buy.

USA

I bought this dress for my daugther a few weeks before Memorial day and she just looked so cute in it. She loved to play around and I loved that it was a perfect dress for both Memorial day, and the 4th of July. She was a total ham in these photos - can't you tell by her cubby cheeks?

I made this layout for the Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #32. The challenge was to use the following sketch.

I used brown and red cardstock (SEI)

The red swirls is from My Minds Eye.

The solid blue is from the Paper company - and has a beautiful shimmer to it. I just love that paper.

I cut the Child on the Firecracker at 2 1/2" with the shadow function from "A Child's Year" cartridge. Pop dotted

The starts are cut at 2" and 2 1/2" also from "A Child's Year". (I made my own shadow for those stars). Pop dotted

The tag at the top corner is cut at 2" from "A child's Year" using the card function (layered a piece of red behind it).

The USA was cut from "Birthday Bash" at 1" and cut with a shadow.

I used chalk and distressing ink to give the edges a softer feel around the layered items. I wasn't happy with just the plain white.

The stars have some stickles on them to make them pop.

Well I hope you enjoy.

Throwback Thursday - Doodlecharm

I love the Throwback Thursday that Emma from http://www.creativetimeforme.com host most every Thursday. Lately I haven't been able to play in my scrapbook room due to other obligations (family, work, home, you know life).

Well today I was actually able to go and play while my daughter was napping.

I love the cartridge Emma chose for this throwback. It is Doodlecharms and if you are playing along and don't have that cartridge you can use any older cartridge and she asked that we use the color "Blue".

Well the minute I saw the requirements for the challenge I instantlly thought about a friend of mine who just had a baby GIRL. She has two sweet little guys (that are 100% boys), but now there world is about to change with ribbons, bows, pink and girly stuff.

I made this cute little baby from the Doodlecharms cartridge - sized at 2 1/2. I put her on an Action Wobble to make her head bob.

I used:

PK Happy Lashes for the face (isn't she just a cutie). Thanks to my local Scrapbook Store now caring PK - I can get them when I need a quick fix.

The "Sweet Little Princess" stamp is from Emma's All Star Baby.

EK Chalk for the cheeks

Copic R32 for the tounge

White gel pen

Rhinestones

A cute little "flowery" blue button

Pink Twine

The paper is:

Bright Pink Shimmer from TPC Studio (love love love this paper) It shimmers and is 2 sided a dark/light color combination.

SEI Happy Days (for the bow)

Beige card stock.

NSD #11 Pink, black, and green

Well this is probably the last card I can enter into the challenge that Robyn is hosting as I'm pushing it. I always wait until the end to do stuff. I had a great excuse this weekend. I was at a scrapbook show here locally.

Well here's the cutest little porcupine that I've ever seen. He's a true cutie.
I love this cartridge - its "Campin' Critters".
Hope you enjoy.

I has the glitz from the bling, the glamour for this elegant bag, and the glitter is in the paper. Love this paper.

NSD - Challenge #2 Kraft

I made cute little card, lately all of my cards have some kind of KRAFT paper as the back ground. I don't know why probably because I can do so much more with it.

Here is a card I made. I stampped it with Just Because on the inside.

A cute little Butterfly with the cage. The cut was from Bloom.
Hope you enjoy -

NSD - Challenge #5

In Robyn's challenge this time was to make something 3 D. Well I have recently been introduced to Quilling so I thought I would make a Birthday Card for someone special. Happy Birthday Mom. Don't worry it will be in the mail tomorrow - just in time to miss her birthday (oops). She understands though.
I used just an A2 size card.

Quilled some little balloons. Something simple but yet cute. I attached some bakers twine for the bows.

I hope she will love it.

NSD - Challenge #1 with Robyn

Ok so I had a few minutes tonight so I played and made a cute card for a friends birthday.
This one is just a simple one with the cupcake stamps from EK . They are so cute. I recently learned a trick - and was playing so I did it. There is a "masking" paper you can buy and its reuseable. You can mask stamps that way it give some depth to them. Very cool.
The Happy Birthday is from Emma's stamps. I stickled the tops of the cup cakes, just to add a little glitz.
I submited this for Robyn's challenge at http://www.mypinkstamper.com/ for National Scrapbook Day Challenge #1.

How to get the UPC code off the Cartridge box for the Michael's rebate.

I noticed that the cartridge box is 2 pieces - a full sticker covering the regular box.

So I very very carefullyl took a razor blade and cut lightly around the UPC code. The trick is to only cut the top layer.

This way the box is still perfect and the only thing I got was the UPC code.
