Another week - another challenge(s)

So a new week which means new challenge(s). I have found a few digi stamps that I have fallen in love with from different sites. Both hosting different challenges.

The first challenge is a sketch challenge from http://sketchyfriday.blogspot.com/. I always love a fun sketch and this site not only has great digi stamps it has fun challenges too.

So this challenge it was to follow the sketch. I love to take the sketch and use it my way - sometimes adding elements but keeping the overall design similar - sometimes deleting elements.

The second challenge was a color challenge - and I will say sometimes those are the harder ones for me. This color challenge is form this site: http://thedigigarden.weebly.com/customer-challenge.html. The colors were perfect for the paper I had by Imaginsce. The digi image is princess Charlotte. Isn't she a cutie.

I used my color pencils and some gamasol to color the hair, dress and flowers on the princess. The flesh is colored with my spectrum noir markers.

I added some pretty green twine - and the sentiment/tag is from My Creative time's small tags.

The pretty little dots around the card - is liquid pearls in the diamond colors. I'm loving the liquid pearls and wondered why it took me so long to finally break down and buy some???
