My Creative Time Design Team call

Option 1 --

Option 2

Well can I just say I really really cut it close on this one. I was going to enter for a spot on Emma's design team and then hesitated and with a little coaxing from the hubby I figured I would try. I really love Emma's blog, have learned a ton for her and all of her Design Team members. I had the pleasure of meeting Emma at CHA in Chicago a couple of years ago. She is just the sweetest lady. When Emma released her 1st stamp set I was right there online ordering her stamps. I have several of her stamp sets. I just love her stamps. I also have really enjoyed playing along with her Throw Back Thursdays. They have been so much fun.

So for her design team I made this card. This card is very special to me in many of ways. My mom and Step -Father (AKA MY DAD who has been the BEST DADDY any little girl could ask for). They will be celebrating 30 years on 11/7. I have something special planned for them but wanted to make this card for them.

I really didn't like the back ground on the 1st one so I made another card. I used the heart border punches from Martha Stewart.

Cartridges used:

Sweet hearts dress and tux cut at 3.5 "

Arts Philosophy for the card base cut at 10.25 x 5.25"

George and Basic shapes for the brown base at 5x5 I welded the cute little corners to the card.

The inside sentiment is from Emma's Stamp called - Gift Card Sentiments.

Paper used:

Diamond white - Bazill

Gray, black and teal is from Paperlayerz by Megan Elizabeth

Gray - Bazill for the shadows

I used my Sizzix machine to emboss her dress.

I chose the brown as that was the main color of the dresses for the bridal party. They were brown with an orange bow.

Yes the BLUE shirt was really the color of shirt my dad had worn.

I want to Thank Emma for allowing us to try out for her design team. I know there are some really AWESOME creations and Emma has a very tough choice.

Let me know which one you like the best..

Happy Scrappin'
