Happy Graduation Card
This weeks challenge at PKS was to make something following the sketch. I love sketches as it helps with an idea but I always love to change it up too. I made this little easel Graduation card. I have a friend who's daughter is graduation this year and thought it would be fun. The school colors are purple and black so I thought this would be great chance to use some new product I got this past week.
Here in MI we have a scrapbook show and I have attended the past 3 years - it's HUGE. One of the new products was this Queen and Company trendy tape. I have never used this tape or the Washi tape but I am now in love with this product.
Everyday Paper doll - Body and graduation gown/cap cut at 4" - I don't change the sizing dial - as it will cut them out proportioned to each other. I used the Black out function so I could add PKS face to her.
The tassel wasn't what I wanted on the cut so I made my own.
Added some gold stickles to her shoes.
I did a little surgery on her hand to make it wrap around the dipolma.
The Happy Graduation and class of 2012 - were from Emma's Stamp set Follow your Dreams set.
Hope you enjoy and
Happy Scrappin'
